AUSTIN, Texas April 30, 2011 -- They're still all the rage and are used by everyone for everything from mobile phones to tablet devices. Unfortunately, larger sized versions have been so expensive they are rarely used for desktop computing or home/office entertainment. That is, until now…

Music Computing, the makers of the popular MotionCOMMAND line of multi-touch products announced today they will offer the MotionCOMMAND Frame, which is simply the multi-touch overlay to the public. Although in appearance looking like a traditional metal picture frame, the MotionCOMMAND Frame is much more. Hidden inside are transmitters and receivers, which turn it into a multi-touch screen. Simply attach it to any video monitor or LCD TV, plug in the USB cable, and instantly you’ll have a new multi-touchscreen.

"We understand people are now used to using multi-touch technologies daily in their portable devices, but have been unable to bring that to their desktop and entertainment systems” says Victor Wong, CEO of Music Computing. "By offering the MotionCOMMAND Frame as an add-on product, people can transform their dated video screen into the latest cutting-edge technology for a fraction of the cost"

The MotionCOMMAND Frame is available in the following standard sizes: 17”, 22”, 32”, 42”, 55” and 65”, with custom sizes up to 100”.

Compatible with Window XP and VISTA as a single-touch screen, MotionCOMMAND Frame becomes 2 or 6 touch capable in Windows 7.

Prices for the MotionCOMMAND Frame starts at $199 and are currently shipping.
